Phoebe is a freelance writer and journalist.

Her feature articles appear in print and online for a variety of publications, including Australian Women’s Weekly, Country Style, Australian Country, Graziher, Bush Journal, Peppermint, ABC, and Arts Hub.

Phoebe wrote the introductory essays and conducted interviews with 100 rural and regional Australians for IN LOVE, OUT BUSH — a photography book published by Bush Journal (May 2024), with photos by acclaimed photographer Pip Williams.

Her words also appear in BUSH WISDOM, edited by Jessica Howard.

She’s exploring ageing and fear-facing in her fortnightly memoir newsletter, Woman of a Certain Age.

She’s also the founder of Small Town Writing Co., a little copywriting studio with big ideas, crafting clever creative content for bold bush businesses.

Phoebe has written for screen and stage, with short films produced and screened locally and internationally, and short plays produced and published.

Her television and podcast series concepts have been shortlisted for various initiatives, including the 2020 Audible and Australian Writers’ Guild ‘On Air’ podcast initiative, for her feminist biopunk audio fiction series, which is in development.
